Charming Playhouse & Great Performances. I've been to this charming playhouse in the pretty community of Victoria several times over the years. It is a lovely location and every play I've seen, including the recent The Postmistress, has been well written and performed. There are refreshments out on the patio during intermission and several wonderful restaurants nearby for a pre-show meal. This playhouse is a true gem.

Trip Advisor ReviewHilarious Show. My wife and I took in "The Birds and the Bees" play this summer. It was one of the most hilarious plays we have ever seen, and the acting was extremely professional. Whenever we want to take a short break we whisk over to Prince Edward Island (just three hours away), stay at the Orient hotel, dine at one of the local restaurants and take in a show at the Playhouse, which was built as a Playhouse about a century ago, and is very quant and intimate (i.e. It only sits about 100 people).

Trip Advisor Review'On a First Name Basis' - Brilliant! I highly recommend the play. "On a First Name Basis" showing at Victoria Playhouse! The acting is superior. The script intelligent, engaging and often humorous. The set is perfect. I have seen two other plays at this lovely, intimate theatre and have enjoyed both. But this play stands out in a league of its own. Tremendous. Bravo!

Trip Advisor ReviewEverything that plays here is amazing! In the past 2 months, I have attended two events here - the first a folk concert from Madison Violet and more recently, the Play "The Myth of the Ostrich". This is an intimate small theatre, but don't let its size fool you about the quality of the entertainment. The playhouse itself is accessible. The seats are comfortable and the theatre is Air conditioned. During the break they serve water, coffee and a few candies on the patio (and sometimes, but not always).. a glass of wine. The myth of the Ostrich is a hilarious play, but the themes and language are definitely for an adult audience. I haven't laughed so hard in ages.

Trip Advisor ReviewDancing Lessons. Such talent! The play was funny at times, serious sometimes and thought provoking all the time. This theatre has consistently delivered performances second to none. We always enjoy our visits to this unique PEI village. If you have tickets to the playhouse why not have a snack or a meal at one of the restaurants - all are excellent.

Trip Advisor Review2019 "Where you Are" Excellent! Love this little theatre! The performances are always top notch and the atmosphere is so friendly. This theatre affords you the opportunity to be very close to the stage and connected with the performers. The 2019 production of "Where you Are" is humorous, entertaining and very touching. So grateful the theatre is still offering high quality performances each year when we visit PEI.

Trip Advisor ReviewGreat live performances in a quaint (yet comfortable) theatre. We have never been disappointed. The show was funny and tender and heart-warming and the actresses top notch. In this day and age of streaming entertainment, it is so refreshing to be able to enjoy a live performance.

Google ReviewMy husband I just love this little theatre. It is always enjoyable and have loved every time we were there. Had season tickets last year and was the best way to spend an evening together. Great job to all. Loved the plays. Great talent. Well worth the price.

Google ReviewSmall, intimate theatre. We attended a Christmas presentation which was excellent. Seating is comfortable and the theatre interior is rustic and charming. I estimate about 130 seats. It is located in a seaside village with interesting shops and restaurants. Most of the shops and restaurants are seasonal. Parking us on the street sides and can be tricky on a busy evening. Allow some extra time to park. Theatre has 3 clean bathrooms and a drink concession.
