We are delighted to announce that Ted Price, the founding artistic director of Theatre Northwest in Prince George, BC is returning to direct the comedy-drama Kiss The Moon Kiss The Sun which opens at the Victoria Playhouse June 28th. During his fifteen year tenure at Theatre North West Ted directed many plays by Canadian playwrights including 1949 by David French, Corker by Wendy Lill, A Guide to Mourning by Eugene Stickland, Amigo’s Blue Guitar by Joan MacLeod, The Invisibility of Eileen by Kit Brennan, Thy Neighbour’s Wife by Tara Beagan and the works of Norm Foster, Guy Vanderhaeghe and Lance Woolaver. Ted directed On Golden Pond for the Playhouse in 2012. The production was a sell-out hit! He also directed Kiss The Moon Kiss The Sun for his final production with Theatre North West. That production became one of the most popular shows in the history of the theatre. Ted arrives on the Island from Prince George in early June.
