Sept. 9 → John Connelly sings Marathon of Hope

For the first time ever, John Connolly will perform a solo concert version of his musical Marathon of Hope, based on the true story of Terry Fox. Connolly will perform the songs from the show and present the story in a concert format.

John is an award-winning singer/songwriter who has released several of his own works; produced albums for other artists; and served as a performer, director, musical director and writer in theatre, film, radio and television. Currently, he is teaching voice at Holland College’s School of Performing Arts and involved in a number of music and theatre projects in development.

Recent projects include playing the role of Dutch Mason in On the Road with Dutch Mason at The Charlottetown Festival; writing music and lyrics for Marathon of Hope at Drayton Entertainment; and co-writing Catherine MacLellan’s show If It’s Alright With You at The PEI Brewing Company.
