Intermediate theatre classes will be held on Thursdays at the Victoria schoolhouse from 4:00 – 5:00 pm
For ages 10 – 13
$130.00 registration fee – due at the first class. We can accept Cheque, Cash, OR E-transfer, all at the door on Sept. 10th

Intermediate Theatre is a course for students ages 10 – 13. We’ll play lots of cooperative drama/improv games, explore creative movement, script development, monologue work, and activities that place an emphasis on individual skill development and team building. By the end of the semester, we will hold an open class night where we will showcase what we’ve been working on throughout our weeks together!
Classes will be held in the Victoria Schoolhouse.

Adult Classes
Adult classes will be held on Thursdays at the Victoria schoolhouse from 7:30 – 8:30 pm,
$130.00 registration fee
6 participants minimum
Adult Theatre is a course for students ages 18+. We’ll play lots of cooperative drama/improv games, explore creative movement, script development, scene work, and activities that place an emphasis on individual skill development and community building. By the end of the semester, we will hold an open class night where we will showcase what we’ve been working on throughout our weeks together!

Advanced Performance Company
* This production is a play, not a musical!
Age ranges from 14 -18 (with the exception of students who receive personal invitations to join)
If you audition for this play, please note that it must be considered a priority extracurricular activity. More than 2 rehearsal absences may result in your part being recast. Performance Schedule will be December 18th, 19th, and 20th. Please make sure these days and the previous Sunday – Wednesday are booked for rehearsal time. You must be committed to attending these dates!
We will continue our educational exercises through this process and treat the rehearsals as if they are also classes.

AUDITION DATE: September 10th 5-7 pm: We’ll play games and warm-up activities. We’ll read through the play, swapping out roles as we read. A cast list will be sent out the following week before the first rehearsal.Rehearsals are Thursdays from September 17th and onward at the Victoria Schoolhouse (initially from 5-7pm to start, and then 5-7:30pm in November), changing in November to the Victoria Playhouse. Everyone will be called to every rehearsal and will be encouraged to bring homework, a book, or a doodling pad if it is not their turn to work on stage. Everyone will need to bring their scripts, notebook and pencil (these are a must – too often kids forget them and need them), water, a snack, and comfortable clothing to each rehearsal. Rehearsals may have extended hours or may be added leading up to the performance.
New participants are welcome to join, but please be advised that if we decide they are not quite ready for major role responsibility, they may receive chorus or backstage roles.
During tech week and the performances, we will be looking for parent and guardian volunteers to help out with ticket sales, ushering, and perhaps a backstage hand. We will organize this closer to the date.
