The Ross Family Ceilidh – 20th Anniversary!

When quirky, personable siblings Stephanie, Johnny, and Danielle come together as a band, they are no longer just a family, no longer just Rosses. They are: the Ross Family. (Cue the cackles).

Big vocals, heartfelt nerdy stories, stylish fiddle sets, wicked piano, and fine step-dancing: The fruit of several generations of Ross and Arsenault values, talents, languages, and hardship.

The group desires to preserve and play with their centuries-old PEI heritage, as well as contemporary folk influences. Add in these music lovers’ varied tastes and there lays the foundation for their original music. Songwriting that tends to reflect on how our roots, our home, our people shape us.

Even after twenty years of performance, the bright stage lights have not blinded the Ross Family from truly seeing those who support and connect with their art. Art that is often described as uplifting and emotionally stirring, full-circle and full-sounding, with sincere depth and goofiness. In other words, love.
